Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to ambulatory patients from Ava Clinic and across MOCH clinics.
  • Oversee the delivery of medical care by clinical staff, including supervision, mentorship, and performance audits.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for consultation and referrals across disciplines.
  • Promote the quality improvement initiatives and ensure data‑driven performance.
  • Develop, update, and ensure adherence to medical care protocols and procedures.
  • Manage telephone triage protocols and utilization/risk management systems.
  • Provide medical care at clinic locations, outreach sites, and school‑based clinics (within a 50‑mile radius of Ava) as requested.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Participate in organizational strategic planning.
  • Assist in development of healthcare plans and grant‑supporting documents.
  • Attend administrative staff, leadership, and Board meetings as required.
  • Collaborate on medical expense budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Assist in developing clinical staffing plans and resolving professional disagreements.
  • Support community service initiatives and participate in fundraising activities.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school; physician licensed in the State of Missouri
  • Board-certified in Primary Care or Family Medicine required
  • Post‑residency clinical experience preferred; experience with underserved populations ideal
  • Administrative, management, or supervisory experience preferred

Pediatric LPN- Mountain Grove Clinic

We are currently seeking a full-time Pediatric LPN to join our nursing team. This position will be based at both our Mountain Grove and Cabool Clinics and offer a 4-day work week with clinical daytime hours. The successful candidate will work directly with a medical provider to assist with routine patient care and perform a wide variety of medical procedures.

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and their caregivers, with the flexibility to assist family practice as needed. Candidates must hold current licensure, have a solid understanding of pediatric clinical procedures, and adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Place patients in exam rooms, record age‑appropriate vital signs, growth measurements (height, weight, head circumference), immunization status, current complaints as appropriate, and relevant history from caregivers.
  • Assist the provider in patient exam, treatment, and specialized procedures.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on medication use, chronic conditions, injury prevention, nutrition, developmental milestones, and other applicable topics.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and caregiver records and information.
  • Document all patient contacts, triage phone calls, and follow clinical protocols to escalate concerns.
  • Perform in-house, CLIA-waived laboratory tests per protocols. Log all lab testing, review laboratory results when returned from outside labs, check them off as received, and refer all abnormal results to the correct provider.
  • Administer immunizations and medications to patients per provider order and medication administration protocols.
  • Assist with outreach activities as directed.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Unrestricted license to practice Practical Nursing in the State of Missouri
  • Experience working with children in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children and their caregivers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated behavioral health team. This position will serve our Mountain Grove Clinic.

The LCSW/LMSW/LPC is a mental health provider with specialized training who works as a member of the Primary Care team. The team approach allows us to address the interaction of physical, behavioral and emotional/mental aspects of care.

This position will offer comprehensive behavioral health services through traditional therapy in a clinical setting with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group environments. The LCSW/LMSW/LPC will be responsible for initial and follow-up assessment and treatment for patients and prepare individual treatment plans. This position will advocate for patients and families and assist patients with gaining access to needed services within the health care system and may provide crisis intervention to patients on an as needed basis. The goal of the LCSW/LMSW/LPC is to assist individuals improve their quality of life by offering guidance and counseling.

Candidate must possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills in interactions with patients, families, physicians and health care team. Must be able to develop collaborative relations with physicians, families, and patients and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and conduct treatment plans. Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and within a team setting. Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to clearly and concisely document sessions. This position may travel to local sites as requested by administration.

Applicant must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Master Social Worker; working knowledge of DSM-5 required; experience is preferred. This position is full-time employment in a clinical setting with competitive salary and attractive benefit package provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as an LMSW/LCSW or LPC.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and therapeutic techniques.
