Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to ambulatory patients from Ava Clinic and across MOCH clinics.
  • Oversee the delivery of medical care by clinical staff, including supervision, mentorship, and performance audits.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for consultation and referrals across disciplines.
  • Promote the quality improvement initiatives and ensure data‑driven performance.
  • Develop, update, and ensure adherence to medical care protocols and procedures.
  • Manage telephone triage protocols and utilization/risk management systems.
  • Provide medical care at clinic locations, outreach sites, and school‑based clinics (within a 50‑mile radius of Ava) as requested.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Participate in organizational strategic planning.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school; physician licensed in the State of Missouri

Medical Assistant Float- Laboratory & Patient Care (Cabool/Houston)

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a community health center dedicated to providing quality healthcare to individuals in Ava, Gainesville, Mansfield, Mountain Grove, Cabool, and Houston. Our team has been caring for patients since 1997 and is committed to expanding our services.

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our nursing team. This float position will be based at our Cabool Clinic and work between our Cabool and Houston clinics. The ideal candidate will have a primary focus on performing laboratory testing, analyzing results, preparing reports, processing incoming faxes and phone calls, and have the ability to assist providers with routine patient care and various medical procedures as needed.

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is growing! We are currently accepting applications for a full-time custodian based out of our Ava clinic, who will also travel to other clinics.

Candidate must be able to perform routine custodial work including, but not limited to cleaning of bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpeted areas, clean spills, perform floor maintenance, inspect and maintain custodial equipment, keep records of work completed, shovel snow, move office furniture, inspect and report work required for maintenance, perform less technical building maintenance, change light bulbs, provide assistance to the staff as necessary with custodial duties and perform other duties as assigned..

Must be available to work evenings/nights and occasional daytime hours, and be willing to travel to alternate work locations as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Understand the methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment used in cleaning and caring for floors, walls, fixtures, and furniture.

Billing Support- Ava Clinic

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is growing! We are currently accepting applications for full-time Billing Support based out of our Ava, MO location.

This position will be responsible for the daily billing operations at Missouri Ozarks Community Health.

Responsibilities Include:
  • review of medical, dental, and behavioral health charges and posting daily
  • review of claims processing, edit checks, and denied claims corrections
  • creating reports
  • remaining current on billing codes and practices.
Billing experience required

Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, and in full compliance with state and federal regulations, the Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting the efficient, accurate, and safe operation of the pharmacy. This position ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Pharmacist in all aspects of daily pharmacy operations.
  • Accurately receive, process, and fill prescriptions in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues as needed.
