Douglas County Public Health Services Group, Inc. DBA/Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center.
This center was established in 1996 with the intent to provide medical and dental care to all within the areas of Douglas, Ozark, Texas, and Wright Counties. This health center is a private, non-profit organization that receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

This paid apprenticeship is part of a collaboration between Missouri Primary Care Association (MPCA) and community health centers. It will offer students the opportunity to register for Missouri’s Dental Assisting Basic Skills Exam at the end of the course. Missouri Ozarks Community Health is proud to partner with Drury University to offer dental assistant and clinical medical assistant pre-certification programs! All classes will be held at the MOCH Wellness Center in Ava.

For more information, visit drury.edu/cert. You can also attend one of two information sessions being offered on Tuesday, December 12th. One session will be held at the Missouri Ozarks Community Health clinic in Gainesville from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Another session will be offered at the MOCH Wellness Center in Ava from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
