Dental Care Returns to Missouri Ozarks Community Health Clinic in Houston with Addition of Dr. Cameron Gray

HOUSTON, Mo. (July 20, 2026) — Dental care is returning to Missouri Ozarks Community Health’s Houston clinic with the addition of Dr. Cameron Gray, who will begin seeing patients there Aug. 18. “We know that our patients in Houston have had to go without a dedicated dentist for some time, so we’re excited that Dr. Gray will be transferring to the clinic,” said Randall Gann, CEO of Missouri Ozarks Community Health. “He has provided excellent care at our Ava clinic since last year, and we know he will be a great addition to the team in Houston.”

Dr. Gray earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of North Carolina. He worked for other federally qualified health centers prior to joining the team at Missouri Ozarks Community Health. “I really enjoy providing care in rural areas,” Dr. Gray said. “I grew up in a rural community, and so I understand just how vital the care is to the area.”

Dr. Gray will provide preventative and restorative dental care for children and adults. He will see patients Tuesday through Friday. Appointments may be scheduled by calling the Houston clinic at (417) 967-0772.

The Houston clinic also provides primary medical care and behavioral healthcare. The clinic has gone without dental care since the departure of Dr. Cody Thress in 2024. “It can be a struggle to find providers for our rural communities, which is why we are so glad that Dr. Gray is willing to transfer to Houston,” said Jennifer Heinlein, chief operations officer of Missouri Ozarks Community Health. “It’s our mission to provide high-quality healthcare services, and we want our patients to have every part of their care covered.”

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a federally qualified health center established in 1996, serving Douglas, Wright, Texas, and Ozark counties. Services include primary medical care, dental care, behavioral healthcare, substance use disorder treatment, prenatal care, pediatric care, and pharmacy services.
