MOUNTAIN GROVE, Mo. (August 10, 2026) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health is pleased to welcome Laney Ness, a provisionally licensed professional counselor, as a new behavioral health provider at its Mountain Grove clinic. “Behavioral healthcare is a really important part of our services at Missouri Ozarks Community Health,” said Randall Gann, CEO of Missouri Ozarks. “We’ve seen demand grow, and we’re proud to be able to offer that needed care close to home.”
Ness is no stranger to Missouri Ozarks Community Health or the Mountain Grove clinic. She has worked as a dental assistant at the clinic for the past five years, building relationships with patients and staff before stepping into her new behavioral health role. “Laney is a very valuable team member, who always has a smile on her face,” said Jennifer Heinlein, chief operations officer at Missouri Ozarks. “Patients loved her when she was a dental assistant, and we know she’s going to excel as a behavioral health provider.”
“I made the decision to switch careers when the pandemic started,” said Ness. “I wanted more one-on-one time with patients to learn their stories and help them navigate difficult moments in their lives.” Laney Ness earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri, and her master’s degree from the University of West Alabama.
Ness will provide care for patients at the Mountain Grove clinic Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. New patients are welcome. To make an appointment with her, please call 417-926-1713. The clinic is located at 1604 C. North Main Street in Mountain Grove.
