Missouri Ozarks Community Health Announces Expansion of Ava Clinic

Expansion of Ava Clinic

AVA, Mo. (February 9, 2026) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health is excited to announce that an expansion of the clinic in Ava is now underway.  The project will include several changes, most notably a dedicated space for behavioral health and substance use treatment services.  “The demand for behavioral health services has grown dramatically in our communities,” said Randall Gann, CEO of Missouri Ozarks.  “It only made sense to devote resources to these important services to better serve our patients.”

One of the most important additions to the behavioral health wing will be a group therapy room.  “As a clinician, I’ve found that groups are where real change often happens, because people discover strength in each other’s stories,” said Angela Sutton, a licensed professional counselor at Missouri Ozarks Community Health. “Recovery grows in connection, and that’s exactly what group work is all about.”

Also included in the expansion will be an updated front desk space, additional exam rooms, changes to medical and dental spaces for improved workflow, more administrative office space and an expanded pharmacy.  “The pharmacy space that our team has been working in for all these years is incredibly small,” said Jennifer Heinlein, chief operations officer at Missouri Ozarks.  “The additional space will make it easier for them to complete their tasks and prioritize patient care.”

The design for the project was completed by Hood-Rich Architecture.  Snyder Construction Group is completing the renovations.  Efforts will be made to limit disruptions to patient care and staffing during the construction period.  The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
