Missouri Ozarks Community Health Expands Behavioral Health Care Services

Mountain Grove, Mo. (March 7, 2024) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health is proud to announce the hiring of Wendy Collins, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Collins joined Missouri Ozarks Community Health in February 2024. “We are very excited to be adding Wendy to our behavioral health department,” said Jennifer Heinlein, Chief Operating Officer of Missouri Ozarks. “She has a love for behavioral health and her community and is a wonderful addition to our organization.”

Collins said she really enjoys working with both individuals and families and looks forward to helping to guide people along their path. “This is where I’m from,” said Collins. “This is my culture, too. And I like this area. I understand some of the struggles that we have in this area.”  Wendy Collins attended Missouri State University for her Master of Social Work. She has 10 years of experience working in behavioral health.

The addition of Collins to the behavioral health team will also allow Missouri Ozarks to offer behavioral health services at the Mansfield clinic full-time. David Evans, a Licensed Professional Counselor at MOCH, will be available to see patients Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday.

A full renovation was recently completed at the Mansfield clinic, which allowed for an expanded lobby and additional clinic rooms. The clinic was also restructured to allow for better patient flow.
