Missouri Ozarks Community Health Welcomes Ashlynn Vonderheide, FNP

MOUNTAIN GROVE, Mo. (August 14, 2025) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health is pleased to welcome Ashlynn Vonderheide, a family nurse practitioner, to the medical team.  Vonderheide will rotate between clinics in the Missouri Ozarks Community Health system to fill staffing needs and address higher patient volume.  Missouri Ozarks’ administrators said this will fill a crucial need at clinics.  “If a provider is sick or goes on vacation, we will be able to move Ashlynn to that clinic so that hopefully patients don’t have their appointments canceled or rescheduled,” said Jennifer Heinlein, chief operations officer at Missouri Ozarks.

Vonderheide earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cox College in Springfield.  She then attended Walden University for her master’s degree.  Vonderheide is a native of Mountain Grove and is excited to work in the community where she grew up. But she said she’s also looking forward to working in other communities across Douglas, Texas and Wright counties.  “I like that I can actually see more people, and see more new faces,” said Vonderheide.

Patients can schedule an appointment with Vonderheide or check her availability by calling any Missouri Ozarks Community Health clinic.

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a federally qualified health center established in 1996. Missouri Ozarks serves the counties of Douglas, Wright, Texas and Ozark. Various services are offered at clinics, including primary medical care, dental care, behavioral health care, prenatal care and pediatric care.
