AVA, Mo. (October 8, 2025) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Cameron Gray, a general dentist, to our dental team in Ava. “Our dental services at Missouri Ozarks are in pretty high demand with patients,” said Dr. Micah Barton, dental director at Missouri Ozarks Community Health. “Having Dr.Gray join the team will help us ensure that patients always receive prompt, quality care.”
Dr. Gray earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University before graduating from the University of North Carolina with his doctorate in dental surgery. He has experience working for federally qualified health centers like Missouri Ozarks Community Health. “I think working at a community health center allows you to serve a population of patients who otherwise wouldn’t get dental care,” said Dr. Gray. “We do see a lot of need, see a lot of people who haven’t been to the dentist in a long time, and I love being able to help those patients get their smile back.”
“We expect Dr. Gray to be a wonderful complement to our team in Ava,” said Jennifer Heinlein, chief operations officer at Missouri Ozarks. “His addition to the team means that we will now be able to offer dental care Monday-Friday in our community.” Dr. Gray will provide care for patients at the Ava clinic from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. He accepts traditional Medicaid, all managed Medicaid plans, sliding fee and full pay patients. His ability to accept private insurance is pending.
