Missouri Ozarks Community Health Welcomes Todd Campbell, Pharm.D. to the Ava Clinic

AVA, Mo. (December 22, 2025) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health is pleased to welcome Todd Campbell, a pharmacist, to the Ava clinic. “We’re thrilled to have someone with Todd’s level of experience join our pharmacy at the clinic in Ava,” said Randall Gann, CEO of Missouri Ozarks.  The hiring of Campbell will allow Missouri Ozarks to once again offer Saturday hours at the Ava pharmacy.

Campbell earned his pharmacy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and spent much of his career in New Jersey before moving to Missouri.  He said Missouri Ozarks fosters a strong sense of community that you don’t always get at other health care organizations.  “I like to get to know patients,” said Campbell.  “Sometimes patients want to go into a pharmacy with a good group of people and a pharmacist who isn’t just a healthcare professional but that you can also consider a friend.”

The hiring of Campbell comes as Missouri Ozarks Community Health prepares for an expansion of its pharmacy department.  “In-house pharmacy services offer patients of Missouri Ozarks the ability to receive care and medications under one roof,” said Jennifer Heinlein, chief operations officer at Missouri Ozarks.  “That’s why we’re excited to expand these services with a new pharmacy in Mansfield.”  The new pharmacy is expected to open in 2026.

Pharmacy services at Missouri Ozarks are only available to current patients.  Prescriptions can be filled at Ava or Mansfield and delivered to any other clinic site.  The pharmacies honor Medicaid, Medicare Part D and most private insurances.  As a community health center, Missouri Ozarks is also able to offer medications at a significant discount as part of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

The pharmacy at the Missouri Ozarks clinic in Ava is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. It will also be open on Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon starting on January 17. The pharmacy at the Missouri Ozarks clinic in Mansfield will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a federally qualified health center established in 1996. Missouri Ozarks serves the counties of Douglas, Wright, Texas and Ozark. Various services are offered at clinics, including primary medical care, dental care, behavioral health care, substance use disorder treatment, prenatal care, and pediatric care.
