Missouri Ozarks Community Health Announces Retirement of CEO Tim Shryack and Names Randall Gann New CEO

MOCH's new CEOAVA, Mo. (September 3, 2024) – Missouri Ozarks Community Health has announced that Randall Gann will serve as Missouri Ozarks Community Health’s next CEO starting in September 2024.  Gann is succeeding Tim Shryack, who has held the role of CEO since 2013 and is retiring at the end of December.

Gann served as chief financial officer at Missouri Ozarks Community Health since 2015.  In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all financial activities at MOCH.  Prior to joining MOCH, Gann worked at BKD, LLP as a consultant in the Community Health Center Division.  “Randall has the experience, knowledge, and leadership to successfully guide MOCH in the future and to continue to impact the health of the families and communities we serve,” said Shryack.

Gann said his focus as CEO will be to continue expanding services offered by Missouri Ozarks Community Health.  “We will continue to look for opportunities to expand our service offerings to our communities, patients and staff in the coming years,” said Gann. “Rural health care can be challenging for many of the people that we serve, and we aim to make that health care as accessible as possible.  I want to thank Tim for his 11 years of dedicated service to Missouri Ozarks Community Health and recognize the amazing growth we have had during his time.”

During Shryack’s tenure as CEO, Missouri Ozarks Community Health expanded services to Mountain Grove, Licking and Houston, Missouri.  MOCH also expanded its behavioral health services, mobile dental, pediatrics, and walk-in clinic hours. “I am very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Missouri Ozarks Community Health over the past eleven years,” said Shryack.  “As a team, we have accomplished much and hopefully have improved the health of those we serve. I appreciate my co-workers, board members, and community for their support and friendship.”

Tracey Amyx has been hired to replace Gann as chief financial officer.  Amyx is from the Gainesville area and is excited to return to the Ozarks.  He started in his position in June 2024.

Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a federally qualified health center established in 1996.  MOCH serves the counties of Douglas, Wright, Texas and Ozark.  Various services are offered at clinics, including primary medical care, dental care, behavioral health care, prenatal care and pediatric care.
