Behavioral Health

Our Behavioral Health Services include Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, Consultation, Referral for Long-Term psychotherapy, medication evaluation, and substance abuse counseling.

To make an appointment, talk to your Missouri Ozarks Community Health Provider who will then assess the need for behavioral health counseling and provide a referral. We currently accept Medicaid, Medicare and sliding fee is available to those who qualify.

MOCH Behavioral Health Providers

David Evans, LPC, CRAADC, CCDP

David Evans is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is also certified in Substance Use Counseling.  He joined Missouri Ozarks Community Health in July 2019. 

David graduated from College of the Ozarks with degrees in psychology and philosophy & religion in 1994.  He continued post-graduate training in marriage & family therapy.  David has practiced within the counseling field since 1997.  His passion is supporting entities within local communities to create medical, mental health, and substance use awareness with prevention, education, and counseling.

David is available to see patients in the Mansfield clinic.

Hannah Paul, LCSW

Hannah graduated from the College of the Ozarks with a Bachelor of Arts degree in family studies and received her Master of Social Work degree from Missouri State University.

Hannah is passionate about helping children, teenagers, and adults create lasting change using a strengths-based focus. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and loves using this tool to guide people in healing traumatic memories. In her free time, Hannah enjoys exploring the outdoors with my family and reading good books.

She is available in the Ava clinic Monday-Thursday.

Carla Trick, LPC

Carla earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the College of the Ozarks in 1986 and her Master’s in Counseling from Missouri State University in 2010.

She also is a nationally rostered Trauma Focused Cognitive- Behavioral Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her passion is helping people overcome challenges they face from having experienced trauma. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and loves using this tool to guide people in healing traumatic memories.

She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, and playing with her dog. She is available in the Houston clinic Monday-Friday.

April Moody, LMSW

April received her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan-Flint. She obtained her master’s degree in social work, with an emphasis in trauma and mental health, from the University of Denver.

April has more than a decade of experience working in behavioral health. She is excited to provide behavioral health services to students at the Ava Public School District. April enjoys woodworking, gardening and traveling.

She is available in the Ava clinic on Friday.

Wendy Collins, LMSW

Wendy Collins joined Missouri Ozarks Community Health in February 2024.

She attended Missouri State University, where she earned her Master of Social Work (MSW).  Wendy has 10 years of experience working in behavioral health.

She is available to see patients in the Mountain Grove clinic Monday-Tuesday and Friday.  She is also available to see patients in the Cabool clinic on Wednesday and Thursday.

Missouri Ozarks Community Health has 6 Clinic Locations.

A wide variety of primary medical and dental services are offered at each clinic location.
