Sybil Fortner, DDS
Dr. Sybil Fortner is a General Dentist and has served as the Dental Director for Missouri Ozarks Community Health since 2007. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UMKC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Fortner spends the majority of her time providing care to rural school districts on the mobile dental bus.

Lauren Bales, DDS
Dr. Bales graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry in December 2002. Dr. Bales has over 20 years of experience in family dentistry.
She is originally from Missouri and enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Loves reading, camping, and kayaking.
Dr. Bales is available to see patients Monday-Thursday in the Mountain Grove clinic.
Cody Thress, DDS
Cody Thress graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in May 2014 and has enjoyed an active practice in Community Health since graduation.
He joined Missouri Ozarks Dental team in April 2018, and is looking forward to serving the community in Houston, MO. He is a native of Branson, MO and enjoys spending time with family and time outdoors.
Dr. Thress is available to see patients Tuesday–Friday in the Houston clinic.
Anna Bowden, DDS
Dr. Anna Bowden graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry in May 2022. She is from the Ozarks and enjoys working in community health.
Her hobbies include cooking, reading, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors with family.
Dr. Bowden is available to see patients in the Ava dental clinic Monday-Thursday.
Micah Barton, DMD
Dr. Micah Barton graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2019.
She joined the dental team at Missouri Ozarks Community Health in August 2022 and is looking forward to serving at the Mansfield clinic. Dr. Barton is originally from West Plains, Missouri. She enjoys watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and dogs.
Dr. Barton is available to see patients in the Mansfield clinic Tuesday-Friday.
Dawson Loschen, DMD
Dr. Dawson Loschen graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2020, joining Missouri Ozarks Community Health after graduation.
He enjoys time with family and being outdoors.
Dr. Loschen is available to see patients in the Gainesville clinic Tuesday-Friday.
Charlee Gann, RDH
Charlee graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Ozarks Technical Community College in 2015.
Before going to dental hygiene school, she worked for 2 years as a dental assistant in Springfield, Missouri but is originally from Plato, Missouri, and is now glad to be providing care in a community close to home.
She loves to spend time with her husband and their three boys. They enjoy spending time outdoors; camping, floating, and hunting.
Charlee is available Tuesday-Thursday in Mountain Grove and Friday in Houston.
Jennifer Smith, RDH
Jennifer graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from St Louis Community College – Forest Park in 2004.
She worked as a dental assistant in the St. Louis area before enrolling in hygiene school. Jennifer moved to the area in 2018. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 girls and labradoodle, Cooper. Jennifer and her family enjoy the lakes in the summer and winters on the farm.
Jennifer is available Tuesday & Thursday in Mansfield and Wednesday & Friday in Gainesville.
